About MCP

Marquette Capital provides flexible junior capital solutions in support of lower-middle-market companies throughout the United States operating principally in the manufacturing, distribution and business services industries. We are a licensed Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

To date, we have raised three funds and invested in a total of 43 companies primarily in the form of mezzanine debt securities usually with some form of equity participation. We are currently deploying capital in SBIC Fund II which raised approximately $95 million.

Solutions Tailored to Accommodate the needs of Small- and Medium-Sized Businesses

Most of the companies we invest in have revenues of $10 million to $100 million. Our typical investment is primarily in the form of mezzanine debt securities usually with some form of equity participation. Our equity can be either on a minority or majority basis.

We partner with management teams, private equity sponsors and other investment groups to provide capital that is uniquely tailored to the situation. We are frequently able to structure investments to allow business owners to retain significant ownership and control of their company.
